Beyoncé took over AT&T Stadium on Thursday night to start the second-to-last week of one of the year’s most electrifying tours. She asked the audience to wear silver. This was my fourth time seeing Beyoncé in concert, and I have to say she just keeps raising the bar. She’s always improving and finding new ways to entertain.
Beyoncé opened her show by appearing on stage through smoke and clouds, wearing a new stunning turquoise gown covered in rhinestones and a veil, with her signature long blonde hair. She sang a new version of "Dangerously in Love," a song I hadn’t liked before, but her powerful and mature voice gave it a whole new vibe. It's a new favorite of mine and I hope she does a studio version.
She sang "Flaws and All," one of the earliest songs I remember of hers from around 2006, and it was absolutely flawless. Then, while lounging on a chrome grand piano, she performed "1+1." Beyoncé also gave us an amazing rendition of “River Deep, Mountain High” as a tribute to Tina Turner, which left everyone in the arena amazed. She reminded the audience that she was not only a performer but one of the best vocalists of all time.
The visuals for the Renaissance World Tour were the best I’ve ever seen. The interludes and video playback were crystal clear, and each graphic took us to a whole new world. It felt like an escape from reality. Even though the show started hours late, the three-hour concert was definitely worth the wait. With each passing moment before the show began, the energy in the arena grew stronger and stronger.
Beyoncé appeared as a silver robot, and after removing her armor, she performed several tracks from Renaissance, including “I’m That Girl,” “Cozy,” and “Alien Superstar.” Her dancers joined her in powerful choreography and chrome costumes.
The show was visually stunning. The set was enormous, featuring robot, fans, a gigantic horse , a moving tank that Beyonce' rode on, and a floating disco ball. The digital screens also mirrored Beyoncé and her dancers.
The rest of the concert played even more into the futuristic themes of the Renaissance Album. Blue Ivy’s dance sequence during “My Power” and “Black Parade” were more emotional than expected. She performed with the dancers, and the crowd went wild for her. It was amazing to see Beyonce' enjoying this moment with her Daughter.
The entire night was incredible —the lights, visuals, music, dancers, and, of course, Beyoncé herself all combined to create a performance beyond anything I could have ever imagined. She's absolutely stunning in real life. She smoothly transitioned between new songs and older hits, keeping me on the edge of my seat, not knowing what would come next. The amazing vocals, along with the visuals on stage and screen, created something truly magical. Everything about the show, including the costumes, was perfectly done, showing how much time, thought, and effort went into it. Beyoncé is without doubt the greatest entrainer ALIVE!
