Gypsy Rose Blanchard Eyes Collaboration with Kim Kardashian for a Prison Reform

Updated: Jan 8

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has a clear vision for her next venture: teaming up with none other than Kim Kardashian.
In December of 2023, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was granted release from Prison, After serving seven-years of her Ten-year sentence for masterminding the murder of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard. Gypsy asserted that her actions were driven by the abuse she endured during her upbringing. The incident occurred in 2015 when Gypsy and her former boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, were arrested following the discovery of Dee Dee's body with multiple stab wounds in her Springfield, Missouri residence. Dee Dee was 48 years old at the time of her tragic demise.

In June 2015, Godejohn was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison after admitting to stabbing "Dee Dee" Blanchard in her bedroom, he later told police he wanted to protect his girlfriend. Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years.
Kim Kardashian has been actively engaged in prison reform initiatives, by advocating for the release of individuals, particularly people of color, who have been wrongfully convicted or faced harsh sentences. While Kardashian has not commented on any potential collaboration with Gypsy, her dedication to criminal justice reform is evident. The reality star, aged 43, notably joined forces with Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former President Donald Trump, in a successful effort to secure a pardon for Alice Johnson.

Johnson had been serving a life sentence since 1996 following a conviction on drug charges. Kardashian's involvement in such cases shows her commitment to addressing issues within the criminal justice system and advocating for fair treatment.

Gypsy herself, now 32, expressed her interest in working with Kardashian, stating, 'I think it would be cool because she has a huge platform for prison reform, and I have been in prison.' In an interview with Extra published on Friday, January 5 2023.

It's a bit unclear how Gypsy, who managed to serve 7-years of a 10-year sentence for a premeditated murder, would fit into Kardashian's plan for prison reform. There's a question about whether Gypsy is using this positive opportunity to gain more attention and notoriety.
