Odell Beckham Jr. Sits-Out for Both Days of Miami Dolphins' Minicamp

Odell Beckham Jr. showed up for the Dolphins' minicamp, wearing his Dolphins jersey but not much else( in terms of gear). He interacted with teammates and coaches but didn't join in any team activities.

The Dolphins signed Odell Beckham Jr. on May 3 to a one-year deal with incentives, hoping his experience and skills would boost their already strong offense. Beckham, who missed the 2022 season due to injury, had a decent season with the Baltimore Ravens last year. The Dolphins hope Beckham Jr. will provide a reliable third option to spread targets and ease defensive pressure off Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who received most of the passes last season.

Odell Beckham Jr., Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle were supposed to take the field together starting this month. Unfortunately, this link-up has been postponed until late July. Jaylen Waddle, excited about the prospect, said he couldn't wait to play with these NFL stars he admired since high school. Coach Mike McDaniel said everyone was thrilled to see a player like Beckham Jr., but they're taking time to understand him and his needs for the best outcome.

Beckham Jr. showcased some of his skills during practice, throwing passes with precision and strength. As they prepare for training camp, the Dolphins are banking on Beckham Jr. to enhance their offensive capabilities alongside Hill and Waddle.
