Playboi Carti Arrest Footage Surfaces Online, Rapper Seen Driving 130 MPH

New footage released of Playboi Cart's second in arrest in 2022, exposing the Whole Lotta Red rapper for speeding at a staggering 130 MPH.

Uploaded to the YouTube channel Raq Rarest on Tuesday (Jan. 9), the 50-minute video captures Carti being pulled over by the police, showcasing their subsequent conversation. Instructed by the police officer to turn off the car's engine and place his hands on the window, Carti, the Atlanta artist, is questioned about why he was driving at such high speeds. Responding with, "I'm rushing because I had an emergency," the officer sternly corrects him, stating, "Bro, you were driving 133 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone." Despite pleading that it was an emergency and explaining his family situation, the officer remains unconvinced, leading to Carti's arrest.

Prior to this, the only known arrest was three months later, following an altercation with his then-pregnant girlfriend. The altercation involved Carti allegedly choking her during an argument and pushing her into bushes. His attorney, in response to the previous arrest, declared, "Mr. Carter was falsely accused," assuring that the case would be dismissed without prosecution or litigation, as communicated with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.
